Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in a main facility setting, specializing in acute recovery care. This role involves providing immediate postoperative care for patients, including those with diagnoses such as total hips/knees, general, neuro, urology, and da Vinci procedures.

Job Details:

• Position: PACU Nurse
• Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, varied start times from 0500 to 0930, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA); 2 years of experience; valid license to submit; experience in acute recovery setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total hips/knees, neuro, urology, daVinci, general surgeries
• Additional Information: Must complete a DYS exam through UNA within 24-48 hours prior to signing; 1-2 days floor orientation with preceptor; tele monitoring required, ability to read and interpret EKG strips; possible floating between main and outpatient surgery center; responsibilities include managing total hips/knees, neuro, urology, and general patients in a PACU environment.
