Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse ER The organizations Emergency Room is seeking a dedicated RN to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. The role involves handling a diverse range of cases, including trauma, medical, surgical, OB, and life-threatening emergencies, in a busy trauma level 4 emergency setting.

Job Details:

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC (interchangeable), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) NRP can be obtained within 30 days of start.
• Education and experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; previous travel experience preferred.
• Location requirements: Candidate must be licensed to submit for the role.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing trauma patients, performing EKGs, troubleshooting RT equipment, administering common drips such as Heparin and pressors, and working alongside physicians, mid-level providers, and ancillary staff.
• Additional operational details: Float rotation may be required; orientation involves two RN shifts; and the ER handles approximately 60 patients in a 24-hour period.
