Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) This role is based in an emergency care setting, providing rapid and high-quality nursing services to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. The ER RN works in a fast-paced environment, performing assessments, initiating lifesaving interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Job Details

Position Description: An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. The ER RN works in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs through triage, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and ongoing evaluation.
Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; 0 years of experience; location in the designated area; shift time: Days; shift hours: 12; minimum hours per week: 36.
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The ER RN performs rapid and comprehensive patient assessments, triages patients based on severity, monitors vital signs and cardiac rhythms, administers medications and IV fluids, assists with emergency procedures such as CPR and trauma resuscitation, and operates emergency equipment including cardiac monitors and ventilators. Collaboration with healthcare team members and maintaining accurate documentation are essential responsibilities.
