Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse (TELE) Sacramento, California. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for cardiac and general overflow patients in an acute care setting. The role requires flexible team collaboration, interpretation of EKG strips, and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Education Requirements: No degree requirements specified.
• Location Requirements: Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, start time at 6:45 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must be flexible, participate in team rounding as a Charge RN, and float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry floors as needed.
• Orientation: 1-2 days on the floor with a preceptor.
• Patient Focus: Cardiac and general overflow, with medications including non-titrating Cardizem, Amio, and Heparin.
• Tools and Systems: Cerner charting system, ability to interpret EKG strips.
• Holidays: Rotating schedule, work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
• Weekend Work: Every other weekend.
• Additional Notes: First to float, team-oriented, and must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Submission Requirements: Certification verification, specific clinical prescreens, and prior references are necessary.

• End Date: 01/26/2027
