Job Summary
Pediatric Nurse Pediatric Floor Travel
This position involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a healthcare facility. Under the supervision of a nurse leader, the Registered Nurse (RN) will independently perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care to promote healing and optimal outcomes in pediatric patients.

Job Details

Location: Pediatric floor in a healthcare setting.
Shift Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License); minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; knowledge of Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR); current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) cards; graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelors or associate degree preferred; familiarity with medical terminology, instruments, equipment, and pharmacology; current health requirements as designated by the healthcare facility.
Additional Information: Ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions; understanding of infection control policies and medication procedures; experience in emergency protocols, nursing diagnoses, and patient assessment. Knowledge of nursing diagnoses, patient care planning, and evidence-based practices is required. Candidates should demonstrate critical thinking, nursing judgment, and familiarity with advanced nursing techniques.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
