Emergency Room (ER) Specialty Nurse in Houston, TX. This position involves providing critical patient care in a high-demand emergency department setting. Job Details

• Position Description: Provide nursing care on a 22-bed emergency department unit with a team of 23 staff members, including registered nurses and certified nurse assistants. The unit utilizes various medical equipment, including defibrillators, bedside cardiac monitoring, and ventilators. Transitioning to Meditech Expanse electronic medical records system.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; RN license; 0 years of experience; located in Houston, TX; flexible to work a 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting from 11/02/2026 through 02/01/2027.
• Additional Information: Must have the ability to perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, and splinting. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork and patient experience focus. Unit policies include scrubs in royal blue, closed-toed shoes, and no false nails or air pods. Weekends and on-call as needed, with schedule preferences to be discussed.
