Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for clinical care and data collection in the Labor and Delivery unit, including vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and postpartum care.
• Location: Woman's Hospital of Texas, Houston, Texas
• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Education requirements include a relevant healthcare certification or degree. Location requirement is Houston, Texas. Experience requirement: 0 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Cesarean Section circulation, placement of FSE and IUPC, and familiarity with protocols for Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Hydralazine, and Labetalol.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have completed AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring. Unit policies and protocols include guidelines for Pitocin and Cervical Ripening, Magnesium Sulfate, Hydralazine, and Labetalol. The department features new equipment and a highly experienced staff, offering a dynamic working environment in a competitive market.
