Job Summary
Telemetry RN Healthcare Facility, Days 36 hours per week. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, TIA, seizure, and TBI, within a busy unit. The position requires a dedicated and team-oriented professional with experience in telemetry nursing.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: State licensure as an RN, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification, current COVID vaccination, and at least 2 years of telemetry experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour days, working every other weekend, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include interpreting telemetry strips, managing patient care for neurological conditions, utilizing GE Apex telemetry monitors, and collaborating within a busy unit focused on patient experience and core measures.
- Additional Information: Must have experience with Heparin drips, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and DKA protocols; float to IMCU or Medical/Surgical Departments may be required; unit emphasizes bedside shift reporting and patient-centered care.
