Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN position in the healthcare facility. Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for patient care management in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, including postoperative, ortho, urology, GYN/ONC, neurosurgery, vascular, ENT, plastics, and GI patients. Care includes titration of controlled drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Cardizem, and Insulin, with remote telemetry monitoring via GE system.
• Certifications and Education Requirements:
  BLS (AHA) certification; required to have at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience; RN license; local candidates within 80 miles of the facility.
• Schedule:
  12-hour shifts with start times at 0700, 1100, and 2300 hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Float to other adult medical and surgical units may be required. Nurse includes responsibilities like reading telemetry strips monitored remotely, titrating set rate drips, and participating in patient care activities. Orientation includes one day of computer training and 1-2 days of precepted floor training.
• Submission Requirements:
  Applicants must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield, with a last work date at least six months prior to submission.
