Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Postpartum Care This position is based in the Labor and Delivery Department within a healthcare provider organization. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a busy clinical environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred. Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado; Compact license accepted, and Colorado license must be obtained within first 90 days of hire. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire; NRP certification within 4 months of hire. Minimum of 1 year ICU/Inpatient experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to patients efficiently, safely, and courteously. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan. Assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and provide evidence-based care. Supervise non-professional staff, assist physicians, and participate in departmental educational activities. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation standards. Perform unit-specific duties such as fetal monitoring, maternal assessment, and neonatal care.
