Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week contract opportunity. This position involves providing emergency care in a high-volume, state-of-the-art Emergency Department, delivering critical services to patients in need of urgent medical attention.
Job Details
- Position Description: CONTRACT - RN - EMERGENCY (780) 13 WEEKS 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM No call required.
- Unit Profile: The ER has 48 beds with staffing levels varying based on patient volume and shift support. The unit supports both day and night shifts with patient ratios of 4:1 during night shifts.
- Type of Staff: The role primarily recruits travel RNs with a focus on ER specialties, with local Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and sitters also supporting staffing needs.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to support a fast-paced ER environment, comfortable with utilizing all hospital emergency equipment, and adhere to unit policies and dress code.
