Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located in the area, will provide patient care on a Medical Surgical (MS) specialty unit within a health care facility. The role involves floating within multiple units, including general Medical Surgical and pediatric patient populations, adhering to facility protocols and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Orientation Date: 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 only (No orientation the week of 11/23)
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
• Schedule: 12-hour days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license in the state or with a compact license, BLS Basic Life Support, minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel experience in a similar setting, experience with Cerner electronic medical record system, and experience working in a Med/Surg Float Pool environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, strong nursing skills in general medical-surgical care, ability to float within multiple units including pediatric and general Med/Surg, and navy scrubs.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience, valid Tennessee license or a compact license on file at the time of submission, and the ability to float within five Med/Surg units as needed. Scrubs navy are required. The unit makes its own schedule.
• Submission Requirements: IVS to interview, manager to extend offer.
