Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT) in Live Oak, TX. This position involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment, primarily working in the surgical unit with a focus on open heart procedures. The role requires assisting with various surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety and procedure success.

Job Details

• Position Description: Support surgical teams as a Certified Operating Room Tech in a multi-specialty hospital setting. Responsibilities include circulating during surgeries such as orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic procedures. Must be able to scrub open heart surgeries.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certifications include BLS and ACLS. No specific experience required beyond certification.
• Schedule: Day shift, 9-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must have OR circulator experience and the ability to fulfill rotating call duties, including one night per week and one weekend every five weeks. Candidates with experience in orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic surgeries are preferred. Flexibility, compassion, and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
