Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, located in the region, provides specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring. The role involves working nights and supporting multiple units within the healthcare organization, with responsibilities centered around patient safety, monitoring, and clinical support.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for delivering high-quality telemetry nursing care across various units, including Med/Surg and telemetry divisions. Candidates may be required to float to different units within Region Two, covering designated hospitals.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of acute care experience; valid license; willing to wait for license submission; 12-hour night shifts, full-time schedule, every other weekend, with holiday and call requirements; minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, high acuity, or similar clinical areas; proficiency in monitoring and titrating IV drips such as Insulin, Heparin, Nitro, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Cardizem.
• Additional Information: Candidates will orient for 4 hours on specific units, with the requirement to float across multiple Med/Surg and telemetry units within the organization. Ability to read and verify telemetry strips remotely with monitor tech support is essential, along with the ability to titrate drips and respond to emergencies effectively.
