Job Details

• Position Description: Candidates will primarily work within the medical-surgical and telemetry units across the region, with responsibilities including monitoring patients' cardiac status, titrating drips such as insulin, heparin, nitro, dobutamine, dopamine, and Cardizem, and responding to various patient needs. The role requires floating across multiple units, including surgical, chronic, acute, and cardiac care areas.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years acute care experience; active license willing to wait; experience in telemetry nursing required.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, full-time, every other weekend, with day shifts and a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to float throughout Region Two, covering units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, and specialized units within the healthcare facility. Orientation includes a 4-hour unit-specific session. The position requires the ability to titrate certain drips and respond to emergency situations.
