Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Telemetry) RN in the area. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a medical-surgical and telemetry unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and proper clinical management of adult and geriatric patients. The role requires working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Job Details

Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS certifications required; 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities: The registered nurse is responsible for managing patient care from admission to discharge, responding to medical and environmental emergencies, and maintaining safety and comfort. Responsibilities include disease prevention, restorative measures, and responding to patient needs within scope of practice.
Floating: May float to other units within scope of practice, including potential assignments at different campus locations.
Submittal Requirements: Must upload valid California Nursys license and applicable certifications with expiration dates; provide 2 references obtained within the last year; ensure all compliance documents are submitted 10 days prior to start date.
Additional Information: All travel nurses are expected to be flexible with floating to different campuses or within the hospital, with a notice of approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start in most cases. A shuttle is provided if floating is requested.
