Job Details

• Position Description:
  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It utilizes specialized knowledge and nursing skills to provide comprehensive perioperative care, including patient assessment, care planning, and post-surgical evaluations. The role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with surgical teams.

• Required Qualifications:
  Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license in the state of practice, or a compact RN licensure for the current state. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical operating room setting within the past 12 months is preferred.

• Schedule:
  Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• Additional Information:
  The RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care in the operating room environment, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements, and participating in perioperative patient education. The role may include supervising staff and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
