Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 28-bed unit, with a patient ratio of 4:1. The position requires active engagement in trauma procedures and acute emergency response, supporting the organizations commitment to timely, compassionate patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Houston, Texas
• Shift: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACL S), Basic Life Support (BLS), 3 years of ER experience, and valid Texas licensure or appropriate state credentials
• Preferred Qualifications: Active, personable personality; experience with trauma procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs
• Additional Information:
  • Unit Information: 28 beds, staffed by 10 RNs on day shifts, 10 RNs on night shifts, 2-3 Techs, and 1 Unit Secretary
  • Typical Procedures Performed: IV initiation, blood draws, resuscitation, EKGs
  • Schedule may include working four weekend shifts per month, with no on-call responsibilities required
  • This assignment is available for a start date of 11/02/2026 through 12/14/2026, with a 6-week duration and 48 hours of work per week
