Job Details

• Position Description: ICU Burn nurse to deliver comprehensive critical care within a Burn Intensive Care Unit for adult patients, utilizing advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, GE cardiac monitoring, and Hill-Rom beds.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Must have experience with ICU level of care, cardiac rhythm proficiency, and training in hemodynamic monitoring and CRRT. Certified in NIH; ABLS certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Burn experience and Hyperbaric Chamber training are advantageous.
• Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit functions with a multidisciplinary team including burn surgeons, nurse practitioners, intensivists, and support staff. It features recent technology, a family-like atmosphere, and a focus on patient-centered care. The facility is working toward verification as a burn center. The unit also emphasizes teamwork, with experienced staff and modern clinical practices.
