Description

Job Summary
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in the en_US region. This position involves providing advanced nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a surgical intensive care environment. The role requires clinical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including charge experience and patient ratio experience of 2, with proficiency in charting systems (Epic preferred).
Qualifications: Valid nursing license, with experience caring for COVID-19 patients and managing complex surgical and trauma cases such as vascular surgeries, Necrotizing fasciitis, and complex abdominal surgeries.
Additional responsibilities include arterial line management, chest tube procedures, ventilator management, blood product administration, and care of patients with multisystem organ failure.
Floating to all ICU floors may be required.
