Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department located in Colorado. This role involves providing safe, effective nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position requires a compassionate approach with an emphasis on patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Associate degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred), Current licensed registered nurse within the state of Colorado (compact license accepted with license obtained within 90 days), Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire, No minimum years of experience required.
Additional qualifications include: Minimum of 0 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, willingness to train in Nursery and Recovery, and successful completion of a basic fetal monitoring course or NRP certification preferred.
Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, utilizing evidence-based practices, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
The candidate must demonstrate effective communication, adaptability within the unit, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
The position may require float to other units as needed.
Submission of relevant license and certification documentation is required for application.
