Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery RN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour Night Shift, 1845 0715, with variable days
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
  • Education: Not specified
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including labor & delivery, in a Level I trauma facility
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • STABLE certification
  • Experience with patient ratios such as Labor: 1:11:2 and Antepartum: 1:21:3
• Additional Information:
  • Clinical procedures include circulating in the operating room, emergency C-sections, emergency D&C procedures, hysterectomies, phlebotomy, IV starts, magnesium and Pitocin infusions, epidural catheter removal, fetal monitoring equipment experience, and support from surgical OB techs and unit secretaries.
  • Support services include respiratory, anesthesia, and ventilator management available 24/7.
  • Orientation includes 24 shifts, with HR new hire orientation lasting 4 days.
  • No RTO approved within the first two weeks, and RTO not requested at submission may not be approved.
