Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: The healthcare facility is seeking a qualified RN for a position within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role involves providing hands-on patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, evaluating their condition, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include creating a healing environment, assessing patient status, implementing interventions, teaching self-care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• The RN must monitor their own practices for safety and compliance, contribute to team building, and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
