Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in the ambulatory care setting within the healthcare provider organization. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, supporting their recovery journey, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university preferred, 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include creating a healing environment by being present for patients and families, assessing patient needs, interpreting data, and planning individualized care. Implements nursing interventions, evaluates their effectiveness, and monitors for adverse responses. Provides patient education, adjusts communication based on developmental and cultural factors, and contributes to team-based care.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop care plans, participates in quality improvement activities, and engages in professional development activities to maintain licensure and certifications.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and leadership qualities within the healthcare team and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for adherence to all standards, policies, and procedures related to patient safety and quality care.
• Demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and contributes to the nursing profession through education and sharing expertise.
