Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Location: Multiple sites in the Portland area. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center, with the flexibility to float between units as needed. The role requires adaptability to variable shifts, including nights, with a focus on delivering patient-centered emergency services.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC; valid in the state of licensure and current.
• Education Requirements: Active state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Location Requirements: Must hold a valid compact license in the state of assignment; local radius of 50 miles.
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Float to different units based on needs, manage multiple patient presentations including trauma, domestic and behavioral health emergencies, and utilize Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, prior community hospital experience, and travel experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at Providence facilities and provide two references covering at least 1 year during the last 3 years.
