Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care facility. This position involves providing emergency care to a variable patient population, including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and other urgent medical cases. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience and current MI licensure, with responsibilities aligned to maintaining high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience; MI license in hand; 0 years of additional required experience indicated; Location: within 80 miles of the facility
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, start times at 10 am, 12 pm, or 3 pm; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Clinical and operational duties include triage, emergency patient assessment, managing trauma and stroke protocols, and operating associated medical equipment such as telemetry monitors, X-ray, and CT imaging
• Additional responsibilities include assisting in utilizing policies, procedures, and emergency protocols, along with participation in department orientation and mandatory training
• Submission medication certifications must be current and verified. Must note if clinician has worked previously for Marshfield; if so, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission date
