Job Summary
Pediatric Nurse Pediatric Floor Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric and adult female patients over 18 years of age, including post-partum mothers, post-operative patients, and general medical-surgical cases. The role requires delivering quality patient care aligned with organizational standards and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

Position Description: Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age group served, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Demonstrates clinical performance consistent with organizational standards, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse license or current Compact state license, BLS certification via American Heart Association, ACLS certification via American Heart Association, PALS certification via American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, STABLE certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Additional Information: The registered nurse will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, perform clinical procedures, and participate in patient education and discharge planning. Responsibilities include effective communication, delegation, team coordination, and participation in staff orientation and unit development efforts.
