Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-acuity critical care to patients, including those who are intubated, sedated, and require chest tube management along with continuous monitoring. It is a full-time night shift position designed for experienced nurses capable of practicing independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; BLS required (AHA only); ACLS required (AHA only); RN License in the state of Texas or equivalent compact license; 0 years of experience minimum; Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Care involves high-acuity ICU patients, including those who are intubated, sedated, and requiring chest tube management and continuous critical care monitoring. The nurse will utilize nursing process principles, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for designated patients. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness, documenting patient information, and providing education to patients and families.
