Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in the ORT (Operative Room Technician) specialty at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing scrub technician services in general and gynecological procedures, supporting the surgical team during procedures with immediate availability for call. The role is critical in ensuring sterile techniques and assisting with patient safety during surgeries.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, Certified Scrub Technician, 3 years of general and gynecological experience; permanent address +50 miles from the facility
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with call responsibilities (one stay late per week, one weekend per 6 weeks)
• Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures within general and gynecological specialties, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting perioperative team operations
• Additional Information: The position is for 13 weeks with an immediate start date and requires prior certification in scrub technology. Submissions lacking all required certifications in hand will be declined. The candidate must be willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses and adhere to the dress code and scrub colors as specified.
• No minimum experience requirement beyond the specified certifications and 3 years of relevant surgical experience.
