Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
• Location: Springfield, MO
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, schedule may vary based on facility needs
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (eligible in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained prior to start), at least 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience with competence in drug titration, and experience caring for adult med or med-tele patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications as applicable
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and delivers care in accordance with the organizations mission, values, and standards. The role requires standing and walking most of the shift, with physical demands including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs., performing patient assessments, and working with blood and body fluids. Past experience in trauma, surgical interventions, and managing medical comorbidities is beneficial.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
