Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It involves utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to evaluate data and plan, provide, and assess patient care tailored to the physical and developmental age of the patients. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physicals, diagnostic and laboratory data, formulating and revising care plans, and ensuring appropriate discharge planning. The nurse provides direct patient care, delegates, and supervises activities of healthcare team members, and promotes communication for continuity of care. Additional duties include documenting accurately and participating in professional activities to improve patient outcomes. The role may involve supervising staff and working across various departments in collaborative efforts.
• Required Qualifications:
  Current, valid RN license in state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification; no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule:
  Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Bachelors degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
• Additional Information:
  May be required to float to a sister site, dependent on census and staffing.
