Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for emergency patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position requires the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physical assessments with patients and families, analyzing diagnostics and laboratory data, and completing assessments and reassessments based on patient needs.
• Formulates a plan of care: Develops, initiates, and revises care plans, including discharge planning, in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Sets realistic, measurable goals according to patient-specific needs and medical plans.
• Implementation of care: Provides direct patient care, coordinates, delegates, and supervises activities of the healthcare team. Ensures care aligns with physician orders and regulatory standards. Promotes continuity of care through effective communication.
• Evaluation: Monitors and evaluates patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans accordingly. Documents assessments, care provided, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Participates in research and professional development: Engages in activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and supports facility education, role development, and mentoring.
• Additional responsibilities: Interacts with staff across departments, physicians, patients, families, external contacts, and community providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Performs all functions in compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
