Job Details

• Position Description: Contributing to patient care within the interdisciplinary team, utilizing professional and clinical knowledge, with potential to float across local campuses within the same discipline.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
• State Licenses: Iowa, Illinois.
• Specialty Name: Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts.
• Schedule: Days shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of previous medical surgical experience required; first-time travelers accepted. Must have a valid drivers license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, copy of certifications, and one supervisory reference required at the time of submission.
• Additional Information: The patient care ratio is 1:5-6 during day shifts and 1:6-7 during nights. Healthcare professionals will work with patient care technicians in navy blue or black scrubs. This role involves floating to step-down units as needed and work during holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day, with specific orientation dates scheduled throughout the year.
