Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse working in a healthcare facility. The position involves delivering specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU environment, performing assessments, procedures, and medication administration under established protocols.

  • Required Qualifications: Active or willing to obtain ND and Compact Registered Nurse licenses, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, minimum of 2+ years of neonatal nursing experience, proficiency in administering medications through PICC lines, ability to float to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatrics, experience with EPIC charting, Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience, and competency in neonatal assessments and procedures such as intubation and PICC line placement.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC - highly preferred
  • Additional Information: Must have completed training on EPIC, including a 2-day buddy shift, and be able to work in a child-friendly scrub environment. Candidates must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility, and local travel rates apply for those living 60 to 80 miles away. Candidates with prior employment at Sanford Health must have ended their prior engagement at least 6 months before submitting.
