Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Location not specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit, supporting patients with critical health needs such as trauma, cardiac issues, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, stroke, renal failure, and respiratory distress. The position requires adherence to clinical policies, effective patient monitoring, and collaboration with healthcare support staff.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- Education & Experience: RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Managing adult critical care patients, including titrating cardiac and other titratable drips, monitoring via GE monitors, and performing troubleshooting.
- Additional Job Notes: Must possess a valid drivers license. Artificial nails are prohibited for patient-care departments. RN candidates must pass a skills exam during orientation. Block scheduling is not typically approved unless for weekends only. Shifts involve dynamic patient populations with varying acuity levels.
