Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a diverse adult patient population, with a focus on acute medical-surgical units including telemetry. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to teamwork and patient-centered care.

Job Details

Shift Time and Hours: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting; active license to submit; COVID-19 vaccination status required.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts starting from 10/26/2026 through 01/25/2027, working every other weekend.
Responsibilities: Care for adult patients with diagnoses such as post-surgical recovery, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer. Utilizes EPIC electronic health record system and Alaris IV pumps.
Certifications: BLS Certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a multicultural environment serving diverse populations, including African American and Korean-speaking patients.
Additional Information: Candidates must have a good attitude, positive mindset, team spirit, and a caring attitude toward patients and team members. Artificial nails are prohibited, and a drivers license is required to verify distance from the facility.
Charting System: EPIC.
Cancellation Policy: Up to 4 shifts can be canceled per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
