Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency setting. The role requires a team-oriented approach, high energy, compassion, and a positive attitude to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Education Requirements: Valid nursing license.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of ER experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to cross-train to cover charge shifts; passing a skills exam with a 90% score at orientation; adherence to fingernail policies; must possess a valid drivers license to confirm location within 50 miles.
• Unit Notes: The ER is a smaller facility with less specialty resources, transferring patients as needed. Involves handling diverse cases including chest pain, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, sepsis, stroke, and more.
• Shift & Scheduling: 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, with scheduling created based on facility needs.
• Special Notes: RTO requested upfront, with additional RTO not typically approved; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
