Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Outpatient Services Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting, with responsibilities spanning outpatient services including day surgery, endoscopy lab, and pre-operative clinics. The role requires assessment, peri-operative education, and care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Position Description: Recruiting for an RN to start ASAP, with a focus on strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in nursing, an associate or bachelors degree in Nursing, at least two years of experience in PACU, SSSU, Pre, or Post-anesthesia units, and current nursing license.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will float to the entire outpatient services area, including day surgery, endoscopy lab, PACU, pre-operative clinic, and hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures. Nursing assessment skills should include peri-operative education, recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
