Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in Kings County. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in a community hospital setting, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and overall well-being.

Job Details

Location: Kings County
Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care. Coordinates care delivery, promotes health, and ensures a safe environment. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
