Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The role requires delivering direct patient care, managing a variety of emergencies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Education and Experience: 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience, current California RN license, and familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic.
• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Experience required: Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience preferred.
• Responsibilities include managing a wide range of emergency conditions such as trauma, respiratory distress, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and behavioral health crises; performing procedures including intubation, arterial line management, and chest tube insertion; and following protocols for infection prevention and patient safety.
• Additional notes: Preference for candidates with community hospital experience and trauma certification. Candidates must have recent licensure and certification documentation uploaded and pass a 7-year work history verification.
• Submittal requirements: All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date.
