Job Details

• Position Description:
  Provides specialized nursing care on a Labor and Delivery unit, supporting maternal and neonatal health during childbirth and recovery.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certificate or through the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). Education: Current nursing license, 0 years of experience required. Location: Las Vegas, NV.
• Schedule:
  Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  The unit cares for approximately 8 labor, 8 antepartum, 4 triage, and 2 Operating Room Service (ORS) beds, with a team of over 70 employees. Responsibilities include assisting with labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and supporting procedures such as C-sections and magnesium titration. Floating to Mother Baby care units may be required. The team utilizes standard Labor and Delivery equipment, including wireless fetal monitors, with electronic medical records system Meditech.
