Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility is responsible for providing perioperative patient care during surgical procedures. The role involves circulating in general, orthopedic, obstetric, ENT, and podiatry surgeries, with rotating pain management and weekend call duties.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare license in the state where the facility is located, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of OR experience preferred
• Responsibilities: Circulate for various procedures including abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, colon resection, endoscopic sinus procedures, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, laparoscopic assisted cases, thyroidectomy, total joint replacement, and more. Support and maintain sterile field, assist surgical team, monitor patient safety, and document patient information accurately.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: Onboarding requires completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules are completed onsite during orientation, typically lasting 4-6 hours for registered nurses.
