Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart RN in the designated location. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular patients undergoing open heart procedures in a Level I trauma unit. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with experience in cardiac surgery and operating room procedures.

Job Details

Position Description: CVOR RN (Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse) for a 36-hour week, Days shift. The unit accepts first-time travelers with two or more years of experience. Trauma Level I experience is preferred.
Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support).
Experience & Education: Minimum requirements include prior operating room experience with a focus on cardiac procedures and trauma.
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. The start date is 10/20/2026, with an end date of 01/19/2027.
Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license, ACLS, BLS, two years of surgical or cardiovascular unit experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood and blood products administration, aortic aneurysm repair, bronchoscopy, coronary artery bypass grafting, intra-aortic balloon pump, mitral valve replacement, TAVR procedures, and advanced charting skills.
Additional Information: Onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing, including core items and labs. Modules are completed onsite during orientation. Candidate must have relevant operating room and cardiovascular experience in an accredited facility.
