Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care within a diverse surgical environment, supporting various procedures including orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, colorectal, ENT, and pain management. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Education Requirements: Valid state licensure in nursing; 0 years of experience minimum required
• Location Requirements: Must hold a current state license in nursing; no specific geographic restrictions mentioned
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Requirements: Epic charting system experience required; 2 years of perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Responsibilities include assisting with diverse surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), laparoscopic assisted procedures, thyroidectomy (partial/total), arthroscopy, fracture reduction, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, transurethral prostate resection, blood administration, infection control, and laser safety procedures
• Must complete core onboarding items within 48 hours of contract signing; modules are completed onsite during orientation
