Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location: Not specified. This role involves providing critical emergency care in a busy trauma and acute care environment. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care across all age groups, with a focus on trauma and emergency cases.

Job Details

• Position: ER RN (Emergency Room Registered Nurse) Nights 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 for a 13-week contract.
• Certifications, education, and experience: Active RN license in the state of Maryland or a valid Compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI, TNCC certifications; 3+ years of ER experience, including trauma level I or II preferred; travel experience required, but first-time travelers with over 5 years of experience will be considered.
• Responsibilities include managing patient care across a variety of diagnoses such as chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, respiratory illnesses, and cardiac arrest, utilizing specialized equipment like Belmont trauma systems, Giraffe neonate warmers, and Rapid infusers.
• Patient ratio: 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity patient groups.
• Schedule: Nights shift from 19:30 to 08:00, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional duties: Required to be floating within the emergency department as needed and scheduled for every other weekend and holidays.
• Submission requirements: Candidates must have active MD or Compact RN licenses and be compliant with all health and safety requirements.
