Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor nurse (MS Orthopedic) in Saint Louis, MO. This position involves providing direct patient care for post-surgical orthopedic patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role requires collaboration with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
• Certifications and Experience: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri). BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital experience needed.
• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to manage all cardiac drips and operate EKG machine. Float rotation may be required. Candidates should be team players, caring about positive patient outcomes, and have superior communication skills. Scrub color is black.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available for the entire week of orientation and should be prepared for standard expectations of every other full weekend and at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day).
