• Position Description: The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for setting standards for care quality and ensuring positive patient outcomes in the emergency room. The role includes managing patient care activities for a group of patients and their families, utilizing independent judgment, and fostering collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: RN license required; BSN preferred; 2 years of experience required; Location requirements: Pennsylvania; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73.
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER).
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves applying the nursing process within Relationship Based Care, formulating patient care goals, and demonstrating critical thinking to address clinical and holistic patient needs.
