Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) The healthcare provider is recruiting for a qualified RN to provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting. The position involves coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process within the Cardiac Cath Lab, with opportunities to support patients with complex cardiac issues and participate in interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: RN expected to float between Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Unit (CVU). Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; Acute Cardiac Care experience accepted. Pre and Post procedure experience is optional. Must have Epic experience.
- Skills: Clinical nursing care, patient care, nursing process, patient education, patient assessment, point of care testing, nursing standards, policies and procedures, communication systems, performance improvement activities, communication, prioritizing care, multidisciplinary resources, patient care planning.
- Certifications & Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS).
