Description

Job Summary
Certified First Surgical Assistant (CFA) Nashville, TN. This position involves supporting surgical teams in a busy operating room environment within a regional hospital. The role requires hands-on assistance during a variety of surgical procedures, utilizing advanced equipment including robotic systems, and ensuring adherence to unit policies and patient safety standards.

Job Details

Certifications: STFA or RNFA; CPR
Education and Experience Requirements: Currently licensed as a registered nurse in TN or a compact state; multi-year operating room experience as an RN, CST, FA, or RNFA; Endovascular, DaVinci robotics, and Meditech charting experience preferred
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Additional Information: Surgical procedures performed on unit include neurosurgery, ortho-spine, orthopaedics, oral/maxo facial, plastics, colorectal, robotic general surgery, bariatric, ENT, urology, thoracic, vascular, and endo-vascular surgeries.
