Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Wenatchee, WA. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to state licensure and certification requirements. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Position: RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
  • Schedule: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: WA State / Compact RN Licensure, active BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring) certifications; 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • Responsibilities:
    • Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner using the nursing process and unit standards
    • Develops, implements, and reassesses patients individualized plan of care
    • Administers medications, completes nursing procedures and treatments
    • Continually evaluates discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
    • Documents care provided, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses accurately
    • Collects patient information needed to provide safe, high-quality care
    • Conducts holistic ongoing assessments and responds appropriately
    • Determines and completes appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
    • Provides health education to patients and families in a timely manner, sharing written informational materials
    • Maintains current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and hospital policies
    • Delegates and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
    • Participates in performance evaluation and quality improvement processes
    • Communicates and collaborates effectively with the healthcare team
    • Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to policies
  • Additional Information: Must float as a sitter; may float in rotation.
  • Submission requirements: Candidates must be able to start on 10/19/2026 and work through 01/17/2027.
